The right temperature
where
you want it.
Most homes have thermostats placed in hallways,
dining rooms, and kitchens but we spend very little
our time in these areas. Since most homes do not
have a properly balanced HVAC system, this leads
to cold and hot spots throughout the house. By
adding a temperature sensor to different areas of your
home, the Pearl can now keep that room at the right
temperature.
Measure comfort, not just temperature.
Fluctuations in humidity levels have drastic effects
on the temperature that your body “feels.” When
paired with a 3-Series Temp & Humidity Sensor, your
system can respond to your comfort level, not just
temperature. The Temp & Humidity Sensor can also
alleviate problems like damp basements or mold
issues in the summer by triggering your air conditioner
to run when high humidity is detected.
Save money with scheduling.
Adding a programmed setback to your HVAC system
while you’re away can save over 20% on your electricity
bill. By setting schedules and having occupancy
sensors know when you’re home and away, the Pearl
can reduce the work your HVAC system has to do.
Capacitive Touch Screen
The Pearl Thermostat is controlled using intuitive
capacitive touch controls. Without physical buttons,
the Pearl can be controlled with features like slide-up/
slide-down to adjust the temperature set point.
ZigBee Home Automation 1.2 Compatibility
The Pearl Thermostat is fully ZigBee HA 1.2 certified
and is guaranteed to function with all open, ZigBee
HA 1.2-certified hubs and devices.
Superior Range and Updatability
The Pearl Thermostat includes a built-in power
amplifier, giving the module superior range and stability
in large homes or areas with wireless interference.
The Pearl also supports over-the-air updates providing
for seamless upgrades and feature additions without
the need for any user interaction.
Step 1: Open ZigBee Network for Joining
Using your controller or hub’s interface, enable the
ZigBee network for joining.
Step 2: Pull Tab from Battery Terminals
Pull the small plastic tab out of the battery terminals
and the thermostat will immediately begin searching
for a network to join.
Step 2: Finish Joining at Hub (optional)
Some hubs and controllers require additional steps
such as naming or categorizing the device.
Step 1: Remove and Replace Battery from Device
Remove front from base. Remove batteries and
replace with new AA batteries. Reassemble and test
operation.
Step 2: Factory Reset and Rejoin
Enter Programming Mode, navigate to Menu ID “17”,
press HOLD, then navigate to option “11”, then press
HOLD again. The device will then factory reset itself
and begin looking for an open network to join.
