up air pressure, and leave the Magazine
open.
2. Hold the Nailer pointed away from you
and any other people or fragile objects.
Using a Hex Wrench, remove Hex Bolts
(36, 37) from the Cover Plate (34).
3. Lift the Cover Plate off the Drive Guide
(31) and use pliers to remove any stuck
fasteners from the jammed Nailer.
4. Inspect the Driver Guide for any bends
or breakage. If it is damaged, do not
use the Nailer until it is repaired by a
qualified technician.
5. Lightly oil the Driver Guide and replace
the Cover Plate, being careful to line up
the bolt holes. Replace and securely
tighten all of the Hex Bolts.
6. Reload the Nailer.
7. Reconnect the Nailer to the air hose.
8. Press the Drive Guide against an
appropriate piece of scrap wood and test
fire the Nailer several times, checking for
proper operation.
9. Disconnect the Nailer, remove the
fasteners, and store the Nailer in a
location out of children’s reach
10. If a fastener is jammed in the Magazine,
depress the Latch and pull back on the
Magazine Cover, fully extending it out
from Magazine (38, 41).
11. Use a screwdriver to release the jammed
fastener by probing the openings in the
magazine.
12. Pull out the jammed fastener and the
remainder of the fastener strip that is
still in the magazine. Dispose of the
remaining fastener strip; it may be bent
or damaged in some other way.
13. Once jam is cleared, insert new
fasteners into the Magazine.
NOTE:
Make sure the fasteners are
loaded with the pointed ends facing
downward.
14. Slide the Magazine Cover back into
place and lock it into place using the
Latch.
15. If you are unable to clear the fastener
jam using the method prescribed above,
the tool should be taken to a qualified
service technician for proper servicing.
