MAXIMIZING OPERATOR SAFETY
MAIA / S-MAIA can be used in combination with a standard mouse, either wired or wireless.
Purchase a
wireless mouse
and plug it into one of the free USB ports accessible from the lateral
panel. Place the mouse on a table or other support about 1 meter from the device screen.
INISTRUCTIONS TO OPERATORS:
•
type any anagraphic information by letting the patient stay far from yourself and
the device
•
provide all necessary instructions to the patient concerning how to perform the test;
•
have the patient position herself/himself in front of the device
•
use the mouse instead of the touch screen to control the device during the test
This kind of operating modality will ensure safe distance from the subject being tested, eliminating
the need for protective shields or alike.
