13.4 Using the equipment
for the first time
Unscrew the cap on the filling opening

. Check
the interior of the container for contaminants and
clean it if required, e.g. with a vacuum cleaner.
The container must be filled using a delivery nozzle
with an automatic shut-off. After filling, replace the
cap on the filling opening.
Make sure that the pump is turned off.
Attach the terminal clamps to a suitable power sup-
ply and switch on the pump.
Please note:
When assembling the components, even when
taking great care, contaminants can get into the
system. Due to the stringent purity requirements
involved, we therefore recommend that on initial
use, the first approx. 5 litres should not be put into
the vehicle, but should be collected in a separate
container.
The filling station is now ready for operation.
13.5 Operation
13.5.1 Filling of vehicles/containers
Lift the delivery nozzle

out of the holder and
insert the spout fully into the container/tank to be
filled.
Switch on the power supply and then the pump

To start the flow of urea solution, squeeze the
operating lever and if required, use the small trap
to set the hold open latch at the desired position.
The delivery nozzle shuts off automatically when
the container/vehicle tank is full. To stop the flow
before the tank is full, squeeze the lever briefly to
disengage it from the latch and then let it go.
Once the spout has drained, remove the nozzle
from the filling connection and wind up the hose.
Replace the delivery nozzle in its holder. Switch
off the pump.
Never keep the pump running for too long if the
container is empty. It can only run on empty to a
limited extent and can be damaged by overheating.
Do not kink the delivery hose during fuelling or
when winding it onto the container.
Important: The fuelling process must be fully
supervised.

relief are performed automatically
