It’s now ready for pairing.
(d) Activate your handset’s Bluetooth accessing function by referring to your handset user guide for details.
Meanwhile, the handset will search for accessible Bluetooth devices.
(e) Select “BTF -S1A1X” from the list. Enter the pre-programmed passkey “0000” and press “OK” to pair the car kit
and the handset. When pairing is completed, the LED will flash on for 3 seconds and LCD will display

(f) The Bluetooth connection is initiated and LCD will display the ID of connected device

Within 2 seconds, the car kit will be under standby mode and LCD will display

most of the mobile handsets, a headset icon
will be displayed.)
(g) Press “Return” to go back to your handset’s main menu.
(h) To make and receive calls through car kit and vehicle (or home) stereo speaker, please tune the FM frequency
of car & stereo to the same channel, for example: 89.8 MHZ. (To tune to a desired FM channel, you may press
or
repeatedly and check the channel display on LCD.)
(i) Please place the handset to the car kit no more than 10 meters. (Obstruction could cause shorter sensing
distance.)
Important:
Under the pairing mode, if the pairing cannot be completed within 2 minutes, the car kit will be powered
off. Please repeat steps (c) to (i) to pair the car kit and mobile handset again.
A2) Connection/Link to a Mobile Handset
After pairing is completed, car kit is always under standby mode. Before you place or answer a call, if the headset
icon
is not on handset screen, please follow the simple steps to activate the Bluetooth connection/link through
your handset or car kit until the headset icon is on the screen.
(a) On Handset: Select “BTF-S1A1X” from the paired list on your handset screen.
(b) On Car kit: Press the MFB once and select “Accept” on handset screen to accept connection. For some of the
handsets, you don’t need to select ”Accept” to complete connection.
Important:
(a) Whenever Bluetooth connection/link is removed and the headset icon
is not on the handset screen, for
example: Car kit or mobile handset is powered off and then turn on; or out of 10 meter sensing distance, please
activate connection/link as suggested.
(b) This device is built-in with advance power-saving features. Once Bluetooth connection/link is removed for 10
minutes(approx.), the car kit will be powered off automatically. To resume connection, please power on the
