2.0 GENERAL
The CEECO 323-F Stainless Steel Wall Telephone, equipped with CAC5.01
firmware, is a microprocessor-based instrument designed to deter fraud from hand
held tone dialers, hookswitch dialing and other fraudulent call attempts. The
transmitter is muted during periods of dial tone preventing the use of hand held
dialers. Attempts to hookswitch dial will cause the microprocessor to return the
phone to an “on hook” state, until the attempt has ended. Incoming calls may be
allowed or blocked, depending on the programming. The phone can be
programmed to auto-dial, speed dial and restrict calling patterns. These
programmable features are covered in the manual sections that follow.
