Verify that the ringer is working and answer the phone by either lifting the
handset or pressing the speakerphone button. The red LED light should
illuminate steadily. Verify that a normal conversation is allowed. Switch
between the two modes and verify that they function well. End the call by
hanging up the phone as appropriate for last mode being used.
