5. Once all parts are in place, plug the appliance to the mains supply and press the power switch to
turn the vacuum cleaner on.
6. Once finished, switch off the appliance and unplug it.
WARNING:
allow ash to cool down to at least 50 ºC before vacuuming it.
WARNING:
if the suction openings of the unit or the flexible tube are blocked by a dirt particle
that exceeds the diameter of the nozzle, switch off the vacuum cleaner and remove the blocking
substance before starting the unit again.
5.CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
1. Make sure the motor has stopped completely before carrying out any cleaning and maintenance
task.
2. Unplug the appliance from the mains supply.
3. Remove the flexible tube from the suction channel and release the lid by unbuckling the locks.
4. Empty the ash into an appropriate container.
5. Clean the outside of the appliance with a wet cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaning agents, as
they could damage the product.
6. Clean the filters regularly by detaching them from the appliance and tapping them over an
appropriate container, in order to remove the ash.
7. Clean the filters at least twice a year as explained in the steps below:
8. Turn the filter assembly counterclockwise to detach it from the lid.
9. Grab the round plastic piece which is closest to the lid with one hand and pull from the filter
with the other to separate both pieces.
10. Remove the cloth from the filter and wash both the cloth and the filter with water and soap.
11. Make sure all parts are completely dry before reassembling them.
12. Allow them to dry for at least 24 hours.
13. Follow the steps on the opposite direction to reassemble the filter.
