7.0. INACTIVITY
7.1.
Preparation of the stop.
This operation can be carried out by the operator.
In anticipation of a long inactive period of the machine, you should take
precautions because they do not lead to hazardous situations when
eventually starting it up;
A long break is considered a period of complete inactivity exceeding one month.
Therefore, you must:
•
Disconnect the equipment from the power source
•
Check the machine thoroughly and replace worn or damaged parts
•
Check the status of the screws and bolts
•
Perform a thorough clean and lubricate all moving parts
•
Cover the machine after it has been stationed in a protected environment
Finding it in perfect condition when using it again,
will only benefit the user.
7.2.
Restarting
This operation must be performed by a qualified technician.
Ensure that the protective devices are efficient, clean the
machine, to remove any deposits of dust and then lubricate
moving parts as well as checking the oil level (for Models TRI H 6.5).
