Using Your Hob
To switch the hob on
• To switch the power on, touch and hold the "On/off sensor" (1)
for approximately two seconds. The hob will beep, all four cooking
zone indicators will show “0” and the timer indicators will show "CL".
Please note: If a power level is not set within twenty seconds, the hob
will switch off automatically.
A decimal point will appear next to a cooking zone indicator's power
level when control/adjustment is available.
To activate a zone and set a power level
• Simply touch the desired zone's indicator (5) and then set the
desired power level using the heat setting slider sensor (2). The
standard power levels range from 1 (minimum) to 9 (maximum). The
hob will then begin heating providing that the correct cookware is
being used.
Please note: This hob also has a "Keep warm" function. The "Keep
warm" function is available between "0" and "1" heat settings and is
shown on a cooking zone indicator as " ". More info on the "Keep
warm" function is on page 15.
To deactivate a zone
• Touch the relevant zone's indicator (5) to activate zone control. You
can then use the heat setting slider sensor (2) to return the heat
setting to 0. The cooking zone indicator will display a "0" to confirm
that the zone is now inactive.
