Troubleshooting
Problem Possible Reasons What to do
No power Power adaptor not switched on. Ensure mains power is present in mains socket and
adaptor is connected properly.
No video STB is in standby mode. Ensure the STB is powered on.
No signal RF Cable is not connected
properly. Or improper STB
settings. Ensure RF Cable is connected properly.
Verify all the STB setting parameters.
No audio STB / TV could be in mute
mode.
RCA cable could be loose or not
connected properly. See that STB / TV are not in mute mode.
Connect RCA cable properly without any
loose connections.
Only audio No video on
TV Screen
RCA cable could be loose
or not connected properly.
STB is in a Radio channel
mode. Connect RCA cable properly without any
loose connections.
Set the STB to TV mode.
Remote control
unit (RCU) is
not working.
Batteries are exhausted.
RCU is not properly pointed
towards the STB. Replace old batteries in RCU. Properly point the RCU
to the STB.
