12. Rapid Preheat - The Glass-Ceramic Contact Grills preheats very quickly. It is not necessary to leave your
Contact Grill on throughout the service period.
13. The residue should be emptied into the drip tray under the grill through the opening at the front of the
Contact Grill. Make sure to clean the drip tray regularly to avoid spills.
14. There are many nonabrasive cleaners which are specifically made for ceramic cooking tops on the
market today. We suggest to use your choice of nonabrasive cleaner at the end of each day or service
period to keep your Contact Grill in top condition.
15. Never use a spray of water or immerse the grill in water. This will damage the electrical components
and might create a hazardous condition.
FUNCTIONS
1. With the handle, the distance between the food and the heat source can be adjusted as desired during
grilling.
2. The grease tray can be pulled forward for easy cleaning.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE:
Step 1: After usage, the device must first be switched OFF, after which you must remove the plug from the
socket. Always do this in the order described to prevent short circuit or other possible dangers.
Step 2: Do not clean the appliance until it has cooled down. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents when
cleaning. The appliance must not be cleaned with a high-pressure cleaner or with a water hose.

Pay attention!
Do not rinse the device with water (don’t wash it by using the tap).
This could cause damage to the device and could therefore lead to dangerous situations;
• Never clean the device with a stainless steel brush. This causes scratches and damages to the device;
• Always store the appliance inside and keep it dry;
• Before maintaining the appliance, always make sure you have removed the plug from the socket.
If the appliance does not work or is damaged, check the following:
1. Whether the plug is in the socket;
2. Whether the plug and / or the cord is damaged.
If it is nr. 2 or if another problem occurs, contact your local dealer or authorized service technician.
According to Waste of Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) directive, WEEE should be
separately collected and treated. If at any time in future you need to dispose of this product
please do NOT dispose of this product with household waste. Please send this product to WEEE
