Installation and connections
During installation, always take into consideration
the technical information in chapter B
• Secure the tank unit to the 3-point fitting on the back of the
tractor
• Secure Komandante in the cabin by means of Velcro
• Connect the button to Komandante
• Secure the button to the vehicle, by means of a magnet or
Velcro
• Connect the 13-pin plug of Komandante to Doctor Fly 120
NOTE: Check that excess cable is properly secure to prevent the
danger of tripping on it or cutting it.
• Connect Komandante to the 12V socket of the tractor.
Faults and troubleshooting
• When the button is pressed, the liquid continues to come out without
stopping:
1. Ensure that the
ml
mode is selected on Komandante.
2. Ensure the solenoid valve is not clogged (see page 28)
3. If the circuit is not properly cleaned between one use and the next,
the flow meter could become clogged and stop working.
Flush clean water through the circuit for a few minutes (set
MAN
on
Komandante), the try to spray the pre-set quantity again (Komandante
set to
ml
).
4. If the flow meter is severely clogged and flushing it with water does
not solve the issue, flush the circuit with water and degreasing detergent.
5. The flow meter is faulty.
Set Komandante to
Tm
(timed) mode, use a graded measuring cup
to set the proper time to dispense the desired quantity and continue
working while waiting for the flow meter to be repaired or replaced.
IMPORTANT
If the flow meter must be removed, pay utmost attention since it is
made of plastic (Nylon).
• The flow meter/solenoid valve unit leaks slightly:
Make sure of the point that is dripping.
DO NOT TIGHTEN where it is leaking, but unscrew the part that is
involved and cover it again with Teflon or hydraulic sealant.
Screw the relevant part back in without tightening excessively.
