15.9 How to use Canisters
The VC8 is also usable for canisters. Make sure the canister lid is
in “Vacuum” status. The knob on the top of the lid controls
vacuuming, closes and locks vents inside lid after vacuuming, and
opens the vents to allow air back in the canister and releases the
lid to access the contents.
1. Place the items into the canister. Make sure the canister lid is
dry and the lid gasket is without any powder or food debris. Also
please allow some space after the items are put into the
canister. And then close the lid.
2. Turn the knob on the lid of the canister to "Seal".
3. Open the chamber of the hose connector on the device and
remove the hose. Put an end to the hose connection (6) above
the unit
4. Connect the end of the hose connection at the top of the lid of
the container.
5. Press the "vacuum vessel" (5) and press the lid gently 3-5 sec.
on the container. The device starts vacuuming.
6. If you want to abort the process (because the bag is not
positioned properly), press the Stop button (1).
7. After the end of the operation the unit will stop automatically.
8th Turn the lock on the container lid to "lock" and remove the
hose.
8. Store canister in refrigerator.
9. To open vacuum canister, twist knob to “Open” position. With
proper care, the canisters may be reused many times.
15.10 How to use the wine stoppers
1. Open the chamber of the hose connector on the device and
remove the hose. Put an end to the hose connection (6) above
the unit
2. Connect the end of the hose connection at the top of the
winestopper.
3. Press the „Vacuuming/ Sealing/ Stop " (1) and press the lid
gently 3-5 sec. on the container. The device starts vacuuming
