Warning

Do not leave the appliance unsupervised during operation.

5.1 Before initial use

1.

Remove sticker from hotplate.

2.

Wash the hotplate and drip tray in warm soapy water using a mild household detergent.

3.

Dry hotplate and drip tray thoroughly.

4.

Place drip tray into base.

5.

For easy cleaning line the drip tray with aluminium foil. This will collect the fats and

juices.

6.

For better non-stick performance, apply a thin coat of cooking oil and rub it in with a

paper towel before each use.

Warning

Charcoal or similar combustible fuels must not be used with this appliance.

5.2 How to use

1.

Insert the temperature control dial fully into the socket of the hotplate.

2.

Plug the cord into a power outlet and turn the power ON.

3.

Set the temperature control dial to the desired heat setting. When the thermostat light

switches off, the desired cooking temperature has been reached and the Grill is ready

to use.

4.

The preheating time will depend on the heat setting selected. If a high heat setting is

selected, a longer preheating time is required.

Please note

The thermostat light on the temperature control dial indicates the Grill is heated up. This

light will remain ON until the set temperature has been reached and then will cycle ON

and OFF throughout cooking. This will ensure that the Grill always maintains the

selected temperature.

When barbecueing on high heat settings, the Grill will generate smoke. Selecting a

lower setting will reduce smoke. Adequate ventilation is recommended.

Do not use sharp objects or cut food on top of the Grill.
