13.2 Rating plate

The rating plate with the connection and
performance data can be found beneath the
device.

Operation and Handling

This chapter provides you with important notices with regard to operating the device.
Observe the following notices to avoid dangers and damages.

Warning

► Do not leave the device unsupervised during operation.
► Never use metal utensils to remove food that may be stuck! For example, you can use a

blunt wooden stick, such as a brush handle. Do not touch the heating elements!

► Do not use bread slices that are too thick or too large, as these can easily jam and then

burn.

14.1 Before first use

1. Remove all packaging material. In particular, make sure that the packaging material
inside the bread slots is removed.
2. Use the device without food.

Please note

► When using the device for the first time, there may be a slight odor and a little smoke.

Therefore, at first, operate the device at least 4 times without food, at the highest level
in a well-ventilated room.
