F. Troubleshooting
Before calling for service please check the following points.
A. No power
Check the light on the lower right hand front of the screen if it is off press the button above.
The main power switch is located left hand side of the terminal behind a small flap check that it is
on.
Power adaptors, check that all adaptors and plugged in both at the machine, adaptor and socket,
remember that plugs can work lose but still look like they are plugged in.
B. System network down
Machines will have exclamation mark in left hand corner of transaction screen and machine will
pop up the following or similar message
C. “ E107 / E108 Master and backup Master down table tracking not available”
This is because the machines cannot see each other which will mean you may have trouble opening
tabs, doing Z reports and ordering printing in the kitchen.
There are a several main causes of this.
One of the terminals is switched off
If you have more than two terminals check the power on the hub, this is where all the
machines are connected together.
Check the connection of the network cables into the machine and into the wall socket if
applicable.
Once you think have found the problem do the following
Go around all terminals and clear any error messages on the screens, you can normally do this by
pressing esc key.
Go to one of the terminals and do the following

Sign In
2.
Press the
Mode
key
3.
Press
Manager Mode
4.
Press Page down and select no

and
Press Yes
5.
Press Yes twice
6.
Screen will flash up “
System Reconfiguration
” and if successful “System Reconfiguration
end” will be displayed and the exclamation mark will disappear.
7.
Press
Esc
8.
Press
Mode
then press
Reg
