After checking to make s u re the six scre w s
that sec u re side panels  and  are f u lly
tightened, cover the heads of the scre w s w ith
scre w caps  .
1.
Making s u re that the pedal u nit ca b le pl u g is
oriented as sho w n in the ill u stration b elo w ,
pl u g it into the pedal connector on the b ottom
of the piano.
a. Press the plug fully into the connector as far as it will
go.
b . Use the clips  to secure the pedal cable to two
locations on side panel  .
2.
Insert the pl u g of the AC adaptor that comes
w ith the Digital Piano into its po w er terminal
(PX- 8 70: 24VDC, PX-770: 12VDC).
