Screen Formats

Quick Search

With Quick Search, the list of 
hits continually updates as you 
input each character.

You can turn off Quick Search, 
if you want. When Quick Search 
is off, the hit list does not appear 
until you press 

 (page 67).

Preview Screen

On the list of hits produced 
by a search, you can display 
a preview screen that shows 
part of the defi nition of the 
highlighted headword.

Example/Comment Preview Screen

When you look up examples 
or comments by pressing 
the 

 key, part of the 

highlighted example or 
comment will be shown in the 
lower pane on the display.
