6. Disassembly and Assembly
6-1. Disassembly and Attachment of Upper and Lower Case
1) Remove the main batteries (SUM3 alkaline
batteries x 2) and lithium battery (CR2032 x 1).
(Refer to the "Instruction Manual" for the
removal procedure.)
2) Remove the five flat screws (2 x 5 Ni)
(A in diagram at right).
3) Remove the single long screw (2 x 15 Ni)
(B in diagram at right).
4) Separate the bottom case from
the upper case by lifting it up
from the upper case.
The nose cap, connector cover
and shaft can also be removed
at this time. However, remove
the nose cap carefully since it
may be difficult to remove as
a result of being adhered to
the upper case with
double-sided adhesive tape.
5) Attachment is performed by
following the reverse
procedure of removal.
Nose Cap Attachment Method. First, attach the nose cap to the bottom
