Fault management and maintenance
The CCE 416-8 NEO is equipped with comprehensive fault management in order to inform you about problems in the processing
of money, but also to draw attention to the contamination of sensors. Please pay particular attention to the following
instructions for cleaning the machine in order to avoid errors caused by contaminated sensors and to have an optimum result
when counting coins.
Cleaning the sensors
Due to the coins and by the settling dust, deposits occur in front of the sensors of the machine and in the transport area of the
coins. These impurities can lead to problems during transport and to the sorting of the coins.
Please clean the sensors of the CCE 416-8 NEO at regular intervals. Generally, we recommend a short cleaning at the end of
the working day, this process only takes a few minutes. When cleaning the machine, always switch off the appliance and
unplug the mains plug.
Open the left door of the unit with the display and fold it upwards. In front of you is the sorting area of the CCE 416-8 NEO. Now
fold the sorting shafts of the machine forward to reach the rail of the coins. Use a soft brush or cloth to remove the dust
deposits from the transport area of the coins. Now open the cover to the hopper area and remove dust and deposits from the
hopper, the sorting wheel and the running rail.
For additional cleaning we recommend the use of a non-flammable compressed air spray to remove dirt and fine dust even in
inaccessible areas.
