Wear hearing protection
- Measured sound level determined according
EN60745.
- The vibration emission level given in this information
sheet has been measured according EN60745 and
may be used to compare one tool with other. It may be
used for a preliminary assessment of exposure.
-The vibration value during actual use of the power tool
can differ from the declared total value depending on
the way in which tool is used.
-It’s necessary identify safety measures to protect the
operator that are based on an estimation of exposure in
the actual conditions of use (taking account of all parts
of the operating cycle such as the times when the tool
is switched off and when it is running idle in addition to
the trigger time).
For EU product versions and/or in case that it is
requested in your country:
Ecology and recyclability of the product
- The materials of which the packaging of this appliance
consists are included in a collection, classification and
recycling system. Should you wish to dispose of them,
use the appropriate public recycling bins for each type

ensure greater control and safety when han-
dling the tool. The auxiliary handle (B) must be
screwed on to the right or left side, depending on
the type of work to be carried out.
Fitting the accessories
- Unplug the appliance from the mains.
- Block the spindle (F) by pressing the Spindle
blocking button (E). The spindle must be stopped
before pressing the spindle blocking button.
- With the Tightening key (K) remove the clamp-
ing nut (J) from the spindle (F).
- Assemble the tool on the support plate (H).
- Assemble the clamping nut (J) using the tighten-
ing key (K). The position of the clamping nut (J)
will depend on the thickness of the tool (see fig
3 and 4).
- Once the tool is assembled check if the spin-
dle blocking button (E) has return to its original
position.
Electronic speed control: (Fig 6)
- The speed of the appliance can be regulated by
using the speed regulator control (O). This func-
tion is very useful, as it makes it possible to adapt
the speed of the appliance to the type of work that
needs to be done. If the appliance works continu-
ously at low speed, working life of the appliance
will be reduced considerably.
Soft Start:
- The appliance is equipped with a soft-start de-
vice that limits the engine starting torque, wait
until the apparatus has reached the rated speed
before starting to work with it.
Constant speed control:
- The appliance is equipped with an electronic de-
vice in order to keep constant speed even under
load condition.
Use:
- Connect the appliance to the mains.
- Turn the appliance on, by using the on/off
switch.
- Be careful of the shavings that fly off. Hold the
tool that so the sparks fly away from you, other
people or inflammable materials.
- When carrying out grinding operations, it is ad-
visable that the angle between the surface and
the disc is approximately 15º - 30º for the best
results.
- When cutting, do not press on the disc. The
discs should not move sideways or oscillate. The
tool should advance smoothly at the beginning
and later moderately and adapted to the type of
material. The tool should move in the opposite
direction to the advance of the disc, never in the
same direction, as there would be a risk of the
machine dumping out of the cutting line in an un-
controlled manner.
- The machine is equipped with a safety switch. If
the electrical current is interrupted while the ma-
chine is running, turn the switch (A) off and on to
restart it.
Once you have finished using the appliance:
- Stop the appliance by releasing the on/off switch.
Cleaning
-
Disconnect the appliance from the mains and
allow it to cool before undertaking any cleaning
task.
- Clean the electrical equipment and the mains
connection with a damp cloth and dry. DO NOT
IMMERSE IN WATER OR ANY OTHER LIQUID.
- Clean the equipment with a damp cloth with a
few drops of washing-up liquid and then dry.
- Do not use solvents, or products with an acid or
base pH such as bleach, or abrasive products, for
cleaning the appliance.
- Do not let water or any other liquid get into the
air vents to avoid damage to the inner parts of the
appliance.
- Never submerge the appliance in water or any
other liquid or place it under running water.
- If the appliance is not in good condition of clean-
liness, its surface may degrade and inexorably af-
fect the duration of the appliance’s useful life and
could become unsafe to use.
Supplies
- Always use original supplies, designed specifi-
cally for your appliance model.
- These supplies are available in specialist shops.
Anomalies and repair
- Take the appliance to an authorised technical sup-
port service if a product damage or other problems
arise. Do not try to dismantle or repair without as-
sistance, as this may be dangerous.
- If the connection to the mains has been damaged,
it must be replaced and you should proceed as you
would in the case of damage.
