WIRELESS (WI-FI) SETUP
IF YOU ARE CONNECTING THE DMS WITH WI-FI, DO NOT CONNECT THE ETHERNET CABLE . This step assumes you
have an active wireless home network and router installed in your home. The quality and stability of the audio signal
depends on the bandwidth and range of your Wi-Fi router. This is especially true for exceptionally high-resolution files, such
as DSD files or PCM files greater than 192kHz. When possible, a wired (Ethernet) connection is preferred.
WIFI SETUP USING STREAMER 2.0 APP
Before proceeding, have the Cary Audio Streamer 2.0 app downloaded to your phone, but NOT opened.
1. Place the DMS-800PV anywhere within the routers Wi-Fi range. Make sure BOTH Wi-Fi antennas are connected.

Do NOT connect the Ethernet cable ).
2. Turn on the DMS-800PV . If the below screen does not appear, press Network input source on IR handheld remote.
3. Use the IR handheld remote to select “ Connect to Wi-Fi with App .”
4. Once selected or if no action is taken within 30 seconds, the DMS-800PV will open a Wi-Fi Hotspot called “ DMS-
WiFi .” Make not of the password ; 12345678 .
5. Open your phones WiFi setup Menu and connect to DMS WiFi .
6. Once connected to DMS Wi-Fi, open the Cary Audio Streamer 2.0 app and following the prompts to “ Setup a new
DMS .”
7. After following the onscreen instructions on your phone and you have successfully connected the DMS-800PV to
your home Wi-Fi network
, check your phone’s WIFI setup Menu to make sure the phone has reconnected back to
your home Wi-Fi network.
