OPERatION
Operational modes
the device has two operational modes:
• “actual value display”: the current torque
value is shown in the display.
the operational mode of the device can
be changed by pressing the button .
• “Peak value display”: Only the maximum
achieved torque is shown in the display.
this provides better control over the
maximum achieved torque.
adjust torque
the device has 10 memory spaces for default values.
1. Press button until the desired memory space
(SEt 0 - 9) is selected.
2. use button to select the desired value.

Value flashes.
3. Press button to select the desired unit.
4. Press button to adjust the desired value.
5. Repeat steps 2 and 4 for other values as required.
6. Confirm entry with button .

PREPaRatION
Insert batteries
Insert new batteries before first use (if not built-in) or... if
the battery symbol flashes in LCD display.
1. Remove screw on lid of battery compartment on rear of
device and remove lid.
2. Change battery (see technical Data for type).Observe
correct polarity.
3. Close the battery compartment again and secure it with
the same screw that was previously removed.
Please note:
Keep a new battery spare in case the battery symbol is
illuminated.
turn on device
1. turn on the device by pressing the button M.
2. the device is automatically calibrated (zero balance)
when it is turned on.
Please note: make sure that no torque is applied to the
adapter of the device as this can lead to inaccurate meas-
urements.

an audio signal is emitted after calibration is complete.
