2) Electrical safety

a) The electric power tool’s connecting plug must

fit the power outlet. The plug must not be modi-

fied in any way. Do not use any adapter plugs in

combination with earthed electric power tools.

Unmodified plugs and power outlets that fit reduce

the risk of an electric shock.

b) Avoid physical contact with earthed surfaces

such as pipes, heating systems, cookers and refri-

gerators.

There is a higher risk of an electric shock if

your body is earthed.

c) Keep electric power tools dry and out of the

rain.

There is a higher risk of electric shock if water is

allowed to enter the electric power tool.

d) Du not misuse the cable to carry or hang up

the electric power tool or to pull the plug from

the power outlet, for example. Keep the cable

away from heat sources, oil, sharp edges or mo-

ving equipment parts.

Damaged or tangled cables

increase the risk of an electric shock.

e) When working outside with an electric power

tool, only use extension leads that are suitable

for use outdoors.

The use of an extension lead sui-

table for outdoor use reduces the risk of an electric

shock.

f) If it is absolutely necessary to operate the

electric power tool in a damp environment, use

a fault current breaker.

The use of a fault current

breaker reduces the risk of an electric shock.

3) Safety of persons

a) Be attentive, watch what you are doing and

take the utmost care when working with an elec-

tric power tool. Do not use an electric power tool

if you are tired or under the influence of drugs,

alcohol or medication.

 One moment of inattentive-

ness when using the electric power tool may cause

serious injuries.

b) Always were personal safety equipment and

protective goggles.

Wearing personal safety

equipment, such as dust mask, non-slip safety shoes,

safety helmet or hearing protection, depending on

the type of the electric power tool reduces the risk

of injuries.

c) Take measures to prevent unintended opera-

tion. Makes sure that the electric power tool is

switched off before you connect it to the power

supply, pick it up or carry it.

 Leaving your finger on

the switch when carrying the electric power tool or

connect it to the power supply while it is switched

on may cause accidents.

d) Remove adjusting tools or spanners before

switching on the electric power tool.

 A tool or key

left in a rotating part of the device can cause injuries.

e) Avoid unnatural postures. Make sure you are in

a stable standing position and keep your balance

at all times.

This will enable you to keep the electric

power tool under better control should an unexpec-

ted situation arise.

f) Wear suitable clothing. Do not wear any loose

clothing or jewellery. Keep your hair, clothing

and gloves away from moving parts.

Loose

clothing, jewellery or long hair may get caught in

moving parts.

g) If dust extractor and collection systems

can be mounted, make sure that they are

connected and are used properly.

Use of a dust

extractor system can reduce the hazards caused by

dust.

4) Use and treatment of the electric power tool

a) Do not cause the device to overload. Use the

electric power tool designed for your job.

You

work better and safer in the specified performance

range with the appropriate tool.

b) Never use a electric power tool with a defecti-

ve switch.

A power tool that can no longer be swit-

ched on or off is dangerous and must be repaired.

c) Unplug the power plug from the power outlet

before making adjustments to the device, exch-

anging accessories or putting the device to one

side.

These precautions make sure that the electric

power tool does not start up unintentionally.

d) Keep electric power tools that are not in use

out of the reach of children. Do not let anyone

use the device who is not familiar with it or who

has not read these instructions.

Electric power

tools are dangerous when used by inexperienced

persons.
