Bite alarms
In winter, prevent the roller wheel from freezing:
Especially in autumn and winter, the combination of
high humidity and later onset of frost can cause the
roller wheel of the bite alarm to freeze.
To prevent this from happening, simply put a small
amount of sewing machine oil on the shaft bearing of
the roller wheel in the housing and wait until it has
retracted. Collecting water is effectively discharged from
the axle and can escape through the drainage channels.
