cable.

Both the Merlin LT and the external timing source should be configured at 115,200 baud, 8 data bits, no parity, 1
stop bit with no flow control.
The voltage levels of the PPS signal input to the Merlin LT should ideally be 0 Vdc to 3.3 Vdc.
