8 SEAT TILT ADJUSTMENT
First loosen the 5-point belts by pressing and holding the button in the front of the seat, and pulling both shoulder
belts (do not pull the belt pads) (
B-1 ).
Unfasten the belts by pressing the red button on the belt buckle and removing the belt tongue ( B-2 ).
Pull the shoulder belts aside and the crotch belt forwards (
B-3
).
Place the child in the seat and put the shoulder belts on. Make sure the shoulder pads are correctly aligned ( B-4 ).
Fasten the belts by linking both belt tongue parts and putting them into the buckle until you hear the ‘click’ ( B-5 ).
Make sure the belts are secured by pulling them lightly ( B-6 ). Tighten the belts by pulling the tightening strap in the
front of the seat. The space between the baby’s body and the shoulder pads should be no larger than the thickness
of 2 fingers of an adult. If you are not able to fasten the belt tongue in the buckle, press the red button on the buckle
and try again.
The shoulder belts are set correctly if the tips of the belts are located just above the child’s shoulders ( C-1 ).
To adjust the shoulder belt height, first loosen the belts by pressing the loosening button and pulling the shoulder
belts ( C-2 ).
Place the car seat forward-facing on a passenger seat and adjust the seat tilt position to maximally inclined (see point
D). Unfasten and remove the linking rod from the seat shell (see A-3 ).
Remove the belt tips from the metal anchor located behind the backrest ( C-3 ). Remove the tips of the shoulder pads
from the small metal link (

Pull the belts and the pads out of the belt slots ( C-5 ).
Put the shoulder belts and pads into a set of slots on a different height ( C-6 ).
Slide the shoulder belts through the shoulder pads and through the belt slots in the backrest ( C-7 ).
Put the tips of the shoulder pads on the small metal link ( C-8 ). Put the sholuder belts back on the metal anchor
( C-9 ). Make sure the belts are not twisted.
The Sport Classic car seat has the option of setting the seat tilt in one of 6 different positions (1-most upright, 6-most
reclining).
To adjust the seat tilt, pull the adjustment lever located under the seat and move the seat forwards of backwards. After
setting the desired position, release the lever to lock it (

).
First loosen the belts by pressing the loosening button in the front of the seat and pulling the shoulder belts (see point

Set the seat tilt in the most reclined position (see point A-1 ). Unfasten the locking rod (see point A-2 ). Pull the seat
part forwards (see point A-3 ). Remove the belt tips from the metal anchor located behind the backrest (see point
C-3 ). Remove the tips of the shoulder pads from the small metal link (see point C-4 ).
Pull the belts and the pads out of the belt slots (see point C-5 ).
To remove the lap belts and the crotch belt with the buckle, find the metal plates under the seat. Pull the plate, rotate it
by 90°, push it into the slot in the seat shell (
E-1 ) and pull out the belt on the upper side of the seat ( E-2 ).
