4.5 Changing the Capture Duration
This variable controls how long the user will have to place their hands on the
RhythmPad to enable a reading to be taken. The range of this variable is between 10
and 30 seconds. The default value for
CaptureDurationSeconds
is 30 seconds.
4.6 Changing the Bradycardia Threshold
This variable controls when the threshold of when the analytics algorithm will view a
reading to be Bradycardia. This variable was introduced to allow the differences
between the US and European cardiology services interpretations of when a subject
is in a state of Bradycardia. The default setting for
BradycardiaThreshold
is 50, but
this variable can be set to a value between 0 and 100.
4.7 Changing the Tachycardia Threshold
This variable controls when the threshold of when the analytics algorithm will view a
reading to be Tachycardia. This variable was introduced to allow the differences
between the US and European cardiology services interpretations of when a subject
is in a state of Bradycardia. The default setting for
TachycardiaThreshold
is 100,
but this variable can be set to a value between 60 and 200.
4.8 Changing the Default Screen Timeout
DefaultScreenTimeout
controls how long it takes for a screen to end the session
and return to the start screen. This is typically used when a subject walks away from
an unattended session without completing their screening or pressing NEXT or
FINISH buttons. The default setting is 300 seconds but the range that can be set is
between 5 and 300. Please note that not all screens have a timeout.
4.9 Changing the Theme
The
Theme
variable allows for the system to be run with either a Light or Dark
background to the User interface. The two options that can be entered into the
configuration are
Light
or
Dark.

4.10 Enabling/Disabling the Instructional Video
The
ShowInstructionalVideo
variable controls whether Cardiocity’s default video is
played to show the user how to place their hands on the RhythmPad
GP
. There are two
acceptable states for this variable to be in
true
and
false
. When
true
the video is
played, when
false
it is skipped. The default
ShowInstructionalVideo
mode is set
to
true
.
