CLOSING THE UMBRELLA
Secure the cover with the binding
belt to keep from moving around in
the wind. Movement in the canopy
cover can chafe and can wear itself
through at the frame.
Unrig the rope from the cleat and
hold it taut with one hand while
removing the locking pin from the
umbrella pole.
Before closing the umbrella com-
pletely, pull out the fabric from
between the struts and fold it
around the umbrella so it cannot
be damaged from getting caught
between the struts.

Let the umbrella descend slowly.
Pull the protective bag over the
umbrella. The optional push-rod
can be used to assist in installing.
