IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be
followed, including:

 1. Read all instructions before using the product.
 2. Do not touch hot surfaces. Use only the handle until the percolator has
completely cooled down. Care must be taken, as burns can occur from
touching hot parts or from spilled, hot liquid.
 3. To protect against electric shock, do not place cord, plug, or percolator in
     water or other liquid.
 4. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near
     children.
 5. Unplug from outlet when the percolator is not in use and before cleaning.
Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts and before cleaning the
     appliance.
 6. Percolator must be operated on a flat surface away from the edge of
     counter to prevent accidental tipping.
 7. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the
appliance malfunctions, or has been damaged in any manner. Return
appliance to an authorized service facility for examination, repair or
     adjustment.
 8. The use of accessories not recommended by Capresso may result in fire,
electric shock or injury to persons.
 9. Do not use outdoors.

10. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter or touch hot surfaces.
11. Do not place percolator on or near a hot gas or electric burner or in a

     heated oven.

12. Do not operate the percolator without water.
13. Always attach plug to appliance first, then fill the percolator with water and

coffee, and finally plug cord into wall outlet. To disconnect, remove plug
from wall outlet before removing plug from unit.

14. Do not operate appliance without adding the minimum amount (16 oz.) of

     water first.

15. Ensure lid/cover is securely in place and in the locked position during

brewing cycle and when serving coffee. (Fig. 6)

16. Scalding may occur if lid/cover is removed during the brewing cycle.
17. Never operate the percolator without the glass lid insert fully locked into

     the lid.

18. Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
19. Never use the appliance if the carafe or lid show any signs of cracks or

carafe has a loose or weakened handle.

20.

WARNING:

To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not remove the

bottom cover. No user-serviceable parts are inside. Repair should be done
     by authorized service personnel only.
