1.
Description.
The
WSD12-LVD
is a
datalogger
with 3 input channels to acquire global solar radiation, wind speed and direction, with storage
functionality of samples acquired.
2.
Configuration.
The signal coming from the solarimeter, with W/m² as unit of measurement, is connected to the first input channel (
CH1
), by CH2
channel is sampled wind direction expressed in degrees, meanwhile on channel CH3 is sampled the pulse signal coming from
anemometer to measure the wind speed in m/sec.
NOTE
: wind direction is related to pole position: zero is obtained when the arrow tip and pole are pointed in the same direction,
with opposite versus of pole fixing (
refer to picture 2
). Resetting procedure can be performed in any desired point in case clamp can’t
be rotated.
To perform this operation the arrow tip must be fixed in the desired position then issue the 6 + 6 command (
must be issued twice for
confirmation
) to
datalogger
.
The new position will be saved as “zero”.
