10. Transporting
When loading or unloading machine onto or from truck, follow the procedures below.
1. Prepare running boards with enough strength (enough to hold the combined weight of machine and operator),
width (twice the width of tire width), length (more than four times as long as the height of truck's loading
deck), and non-skid surface. Place boards as shown below so that boards stay firmly in their positions even
when machine rides on them.
2. Securely hook running boards to loading deck of truck so that there is no step in height between boards and
truck's loading deck.

• Do not allow any one to come near machine, truck, and run-
ning board while loading or unloading machine.
• Do not turn on the running boards. Machine may drop off the
running boards.
• When moving up or down running boards, drive machine
slowly at low speed.
DANGER
When machine is moving over the joint between loading deck of
truck and running board, beware of the shift in machine's center
of gravity. It can move suddenly.
