[Fine Increment] to [On] to use the smallest iris
increment. Nevertheless, the aperture value displayed
on the screen will be the closest value in the selected
increment scale.

touch control (

NOTES
NOTES
• The aperture value set manually will not be saved when you switch to automatic aperture (with the exception
of full auto mode). Instead, the aperture value set automatically by the camera will be used when you switch
back to manual aperture control.
• If the ND filter is activated, the picture may become dark when you set a high aperture value. In such case,
press the ND FILTER – button and readjust the aperture.
• If you set an assignable button to [Iris +] or [Iris –] (
A

or close down the aperture.
• You can use the
> [

adjustment when you turn the iris ring.

• When an RC-V100 Remote Controller is connected to the camera, you can adjust the aperture with the
remote controller’s IRIS dial. At default settings, turn the dial right to open up the aperture and left to close the
aperture.
• You can also switch between automatic and manual aperture with the remote controller's AUTO IRIS button.
Iri
s
Limit
You can set an iris limit to prevent the aperture from closing below the diffraction limit of the lens (F11).

• The maximum aperture value is [F11], the diffraction limit of the lens.
• If [Iris Limit] is set to [Off], you can fully close the aperture. Aperture values that exceed the diffraction limit will
appear in gray.
NOTES
NOTES
• Using aperture values that exceed the lens's diffraction limit may affect the recorded image (for example,
causing diffraction blur). Using aperture values within the lens's diffraction limit (iris limit) is recommended.
