This section provides a general description of the video, including video size and quality of each stream delivered from the
camera.
Settings are made for each of the following five streams.
• Stream 1
• Stream 2
• Stream 3
• Stream 4
• Digital PTZ
Stream 1, Stream 2
Settings for H.264/H.265 video transmitted from the camera.
Select the video codec type.
The settings in Stream 1 are also reflected in Stream 2.
[Video
S
ize]
Select a video size.
[1920x1080] cannot be set for Stream 2.
[Frame Rate (fps)]
Select the video frame rate. The choices depend on the settings in [Maintenance] > [Environment].
[Video] > [Video]
Important
• Ensure that the total frame rate of streams for transmission does not exceed 60 fps (at system frequency 60 Hz) or 50 fps (at system
frequency 50 Hz).
• If the video size, video quality and bit rate are set higher, or if a large number of clients access simultaneously, the network load may
increase and the video frame rate may decrease.
• The data size may increase depending on the type or movement of the subject. If the frame rate remains low or other undesirable
conditions continue for a long time, lower the video size or quality setting.
• In case of H.264/H.265 video, block noise may be noticeable if the video size is set larger and the bit rate is set lower.
Important
• 60 fps (at system frequency 60 Hz) or 50 fps (at system frequency 50 Hz) can be selected only for Stream 1. In addition, all of the
following conditions must be met.
– Both [WDR] and [Intelligent Function] in [Maintenance] > [Environment] are set to [Disable].
– [Video Record] > [Memory Card Recording] > [Operation Settings] is set to [Save Log].
– [Upload] is set to [Upload Disabled], when [Video Record Action] is set to [Upload] in [Video Record] > [Upload].
