Turning On the Remote Controller

1 Turn on the camera.

• Depending on the camera used, you may need to activate the remote controller using 

the camera’s menu. For details, refer to the camera’s instruction manual.

• The remote controller will turn on and the CAMERA POWER button will light up in 

green.

• Immediately after activating the remote controller, all the controls will be locked.

2 Remote controller: Press the ACTIVE button repeatedly to change the key lock 

mode as necessary (

Disconnecting the Remote Controller

1 Turn off the camera.

2 Disconnect the cable from the remote controller’s REMOTE A or REMOTE B 

terminal and from the corresponding terminal on the camera.

• To disconnect the optional 8-pin remote cable, pull back the metallic tip of the plug 

and then disconnect the cable from the terminal.
