Initial Preparations

Set the date and time.
z z Touch the option to configure, and then
touch [
o
][
p
] to specify the date and
time.
z z When finished, touch [
^
].

Specify your home time zone.
z z Touch [ q ][ r ] to choose your home time zone.
z z Touch [OK] when finished. After a
confirmation message, the setting screen
is no longer displayed.
z z To turn off the camera, press the ON/OFF
button.
Changing the Date and Time
To adjust the date and time once you have set it, do the following.

Touch [ H ], and then touch [ n ].

Touch the [

] tab, drag up or down to choose [Date/Time], and then
touch [Date/Time].

Follow step 2 in “Setting the Date and Time” to adjust the settings.

Double-touch [ ^ ] to close the menu screen.
Display Language
Change the display language as needed.

Enter Playback mode.
z z Press the [ 1 ] button.

Access the setting screen.
z z Touch and hold [ n ] until the setting
screen is displayed. If there are images
on the memory card, touch [
H
] in the
lower left to access [ n ].
z z Touch a display language to choose it, and
then touch the chosen language again.
