Changing the Still Image Quality during a Tape’s 
Playback

While playing back a tape you can capture a scene as a still image on the memory card. 
In 

 the still image size will be 

S

 640x480, but you can select the still image 

quality.

1. Open the FUNC. menu and select (

) the image quality icon. 

2. Select (

) the desired image quality. 

• The still image size is 

S

 640x480 and cannot be changed.

• The number on the right indicates the approximate number of images that can be 

recorded on the memory card at the current image quality setting.

3. Close the menu.

Changing the Movie Size

You can choose between 320 x 240 pixels and 160 x 120 pixels.

1. Open the FUNC. menu and select (

) the movie size icon. 

2. Select (

) a setting option and close the menu. 



Movies are recorded with Motion JPEG compression.


