(1) Check the connection between the CCD and SPCNT board (JCCD1).

(2) Replace the scanner unit.

The image has vertical stripes.

(3) Replace the scanner unit.

(4) Replace the SPCNT board.

The halftone image contains black dots.

(1) Clean the Document glass.

(2) Check the connection between the CCD and SPCNT board (JCCD1).

(3) Replace the scanner unit.

(4) Replace the SPCNT board.

The color or brightness of the image is not normal.

(1) Clean the Document glass.

(2) Check the connection between the CCD and SPCNT board (JCCD1).

(3) Replace the scanner unit.

Memory Card Problem

Memory card error (MP370, MP390 only)

The card is not recognized.

(1) Detach the memory card, and fit it back once again.

(2) Check to see if the memory card contains image data using a digital camera or computer.

(3) Check the connection between the multi card reader board and the SPCNT board (JCARD1).

(4) Replace the multi card reader unit.

(5) Replace the SPCNT board.
