2.8 FIXING UNIT/DELIVERY SYSTEM

2.8.1 Overview/Configuration

2.8.1.1 Overview

LBP3100 / LBP3010B

Fixing/delivery system consists of the fixing film unit, pressure roller and delivery roller etc.
These rollers are driven by the main motor (M1).
Toner is transferred on the paper and fused by the heat of the fixing heater on the fixing assembly and by the pressure from the pressure roller, then the paper is
delivered from the fixing assembly.
The paper is detected by the delivery sensor (PS701) and the paper width sensor (PS702), and then delivered to the delivery tray by the delivery roller.
