If the message [ハイシエリア] appears on the display, check the rear cover area and the
face-down tray area.

If the message does not disappear even after any jammed paper has been removed, check the top
cover area too.

If a paper jam occurs in the face-
down tray, open the face-up tray.

Remove the paper from the face-
down tray side.

When you have removed the paper, open the
top cover once and close it again to cancel
the error message.
