2. Operations
a. CPU (IC201)

This printer contains an 8-bit single-chip microcomputer for its CPU.

This CPU is a single-chip CPU with a built-in ROM and RAM. It performs the controls for the following items

based on the control program stored in the ROM.
1)

Printer sequence.

Video interface.

High-voltage power supply circuit.

Laser/scanner.

Sensors.

Loads (motors, solenoids, etc.).

b. Reset IC (IC202)

IC202 mo3.3V and resets the CPU when the power is turned ON.

c. Fixing Control Circuit

See the section “B. Fixing Control Circuit” in this chapter.

d. High-Voltage Power Supply Circuit

See the section “C. High-Voltage Power Supply Circuit” in this chapter.

e. Low-Voltage Power Supply Circuit
