Firmware Update Procedures
In the following instructions, x.x.xx.xxx indicates either the
current firmware version or the version of the new
firmware.
(1)
Prepare the items required to update the firmware

Mobile device with iOS 11 or later, or Android 5.1 or
later
2.
IVY REC
3.
A formatted or a new SD card
4.
Install the Mini Cam App from App store or Play store
5.
Add and connect IVY REC to the Mini Cam App
(2)
Download the firmware update file to the IVY REC
1.
Launch the Mini Cam App
2.
If new firmware is available, a message box stating “New
firmware x.x.xx.xxx is available. Do you want to
download?” will be displayed. Select “OK” to download
the firmware.
Note: If the user selects “Later”, the message box will be
displayed again when the App is restarted.
