Connect the Power Cord, Turn On the Machine,

Connect the supplied power cord into the rear
socket and the wall outlet and press the [I] side of
the main power switch to ON. If <DISPLAY LANGUAGE> appears, press
[ ]
or [
] to select a language for the LCD, then
press [OK].
What if...
●
<CLOSE COVER/FRONT OR LEFT COVER> is displayed:
Make sure that the front or left cover is closed properly.

<OUT OF TONER/CHANGE TONER> is displayed:
Make sure that the toner cartridge is installed properly.

<DRUM IS NOT SET/INSERT THE DRUM> is displayed:
Make sure that the drum unit is installed properly.
(See “Install the Drum Unit,” on p. 5.)
●
<LOAD PAPER> is displayed:
Make sure that paper is loaded in the paper drawer properly.
(See “Load Paper,” on p. 7.)
