HDD Data Encryption Kit-B1
The HDD Encryption Kit-B1 encrypts image data before writing to the
HDD. This kit provides protection for all data including documents stored
in Mail Boxes. The HDD Data Encryption Kit-B1 is equipped with the
Canon MFP Security Chip 1.00 which has acquired Common Criteria
Certification EAL3. Common Criteria Certification is a requirement for all
government agencies that handle national security data. Receiving
Common Criteria Certification indicates that this kit has passed a
“rigorous government sponsored inspection process for the safety and
security of data entered, stored, displayed, or transmitted by networked
devices”.
