VII. Dealer Sales/Service Authorization
To obtain and maintain authorization to sell or service an imageRUNNER
ADVANCE device, every Authorized Reseller’s location must have at least one
employee who has successfully completed the appropriate imageRUNNER
ADVANCE device-training program, and who has been certified, as described in
Educational Training .
VIII. Educational Training
A. Training Program Overview
Service provider technicians who are already certified on the imageRUNNER
ADVANCE C350iF/C250iF Series machine will be automatically certified on
the imageRUNNER ADVANCE C350P series machine. New service
providers must have one (1) technician successfully complete the
imageRUNNER ADVANCE C350iF/C250iF Online Training (course #
18IRTC350IF00O) to be certified on the imageRUNNER ADVANCE C350P
series.
The imageRUNNER ADVANCE C350iF/C250iF Series Online Training
e-Learning course provides the technician with the knowledge required for
installing, upgrading, servicing, and maintaining the imageRUNNER
ADVANCE C350iF/C250iF/C350P devices in the field.
The online e-Learning course also focuses on the features and functions,
functional systems, disassembly, component identification, troubleshooting,
and servicing procedures to support these devices in standalone and
networked environments.
B. Prerequisites
Prior to taking the imageRUNNER ADVANCE C350iF/C250iF Series Training
program, technicians must successfully complete the following course:
• Applied Technology blended learning course (AT-CL)
• Basic Color Principles (BCP – CLTMOD)
Note:
It is strongly recommended, not required, that technicians take the
ADVANCE Systems training course. The imageRUNNER ADVANCE
C350iF/C250iF/C350P models use the ADVANCE Systems interface.
