C. Installation Space Requirements
The imagePRESS Lite C170 / C165 machine approximate installation space
requirements may differ, depending on how the machine is configured and the
optional accessories attached. Always ensure that there is enough space for
servicing and operation of the main unit and configuration.
WARNING
Do not place anything around the machine or the breaker, as doing so may
prevent access to the breaker in an emergency, possibly resulting in personal
injury or damage to the machine.
IMPORTANT
Rear Space:
•
Keep the back of the imagePRESS Lite C170 / C165 at least 4” (100 mm)
away from a wall when configured with the Copy Tray-R2, Upright Control
Panel-H1, and a Finisher (Staple Finisher-W1 PRO, Booklet Finisher-W1
PRO, Staple Finisher-AC1, Booklet Finisher-AC1).
Notes:
•
When the imagePRESS Lite C170 / C165 configuration includes the
Stack Bypass Alignment Tray-D1 and Long Sheet Feeding and Catch
Tray-B1, keep the back of the configuration at least 8” (200 mm) away
from a wall.
•
To service the imagePRESS Lite C170 / C165 configured with a
finisher an additional 15 minutes is required for service to
accommodate separating and moving the finisher from the
imagePRESS and then returning, reconnecting and leveling the
module.
•
Keep the back of the machine at least 31.5” (800 mm) away from a wall
when the Main Unit is configured with any paper feed or additional
accessories.
Front and Side Space:
•
Make sure that at least 19.75” (500 mm) of space is available around the
front, left, and right sides of the Main Unit when configured with the Copy
Tray-R2, and Upright Control Panel-H1.
•
Make sure that at least 39.4” (1,000 mm) of space is available around the
front, left, and right sides of the Main Unit when configured with a finisher,
accessory options or paper feed options.
