Releasing the Knurled Belt

Outline

The sheet which has moved past the sort delivery roller is sent to the knurled belt by the paddle

and the stack delivery roller. However, the knurled belt is released for the following to avoid the
effects on the movement to the processing tray occurring if the sheet was kept in contact with the
knurled belt.

If three sheets arrive at the same time from the buffer roller (3-sheet delivery).

If multiple sheets (40 or more) already exist on the processing tray.

The knurled belt is released by the knurled belt solenoid (SL3).
