Affixing Labels

1) Affix the label for the appropriate language over the positions shown in the figure below.
•  Copy Prohibition Label
•  Cleaning Position Label
•  Cleaning Procedure Label
•  Finger Pinch Caution Label

NOTE:

After completing "Affixing Labels" procedure, execute from "Installation" procedure in

the Service Manual.

Operation Check

1) Connect the power plug of the host machine to the power outlet.
2) Open the switch cover and turn ON the main power switch.
3) After activation, follow the instruction in the Control Panel, and press the shut down key in

the Control Panel.

4) Turn ON the main power switch.

NOTE:

Although a message “Take out the Toner Container” is indicated on UI, execute step 5

through 10.

5) Enter the following Service Mode (Level 1), make sure that the setting value is “1”.

COPIER > OPTION > FNC-SW > W/SCNR

6) Set the value of the following Service Mode (Level 1) to "1".

COPIER > OPTION > CUSTOM > SCANTYPE

7) Exit the Service Mode.
8) Change the operation panel screen to "Scan and Send", and press "Options".
9) Press "Finished Stamp" in the second page of the "Options" screen.
10)

Set to the feeder and conduct transmission test to check that the originals are

stamped

NOTE:

When installing the host machine and this equipment at the same time, be sure to

perform the procedure from "Installing the Toner Container" in the installation chapter in

the Service Manual after completing step 10.
