Sensor cleaning is performed when 
you turn on and turn off the camera. 
To stop automatic cleaning, choose 
Disable. 

The Clean now option enables you to 
manually have automatic cleaning per-
formed when you choose this option, 
and select OK.

Clean manually locks up the mirror 
and shutter so that you can clean the 
sensor yourself.

Choose this option to install a newer 
fi rmware version.

Adding a Copyright to Images

Copyright identifi es your ownership of images. On the T2i/550D, you can add your 
copyright information to the metadata that is embedded with each image that you 
shoot. 

TIP

 

To complete the copyright process, register your images with the United 

States Copyright Office. For more information, visit www.copyright.gov.

To enter your copyright and name on your images, follow these steps. 

 1. 

Press the Menu button, turn the Main dial to select the Setup 3 tab, and 
then highlight Copyright information.
